Personal Information

Antonis Michael is a lecturer of structural and material engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering. His research work includes load testing of bridges, structural concrete design and testing, long term monitoring of structures in the field, repair/strengthening of wood structures with Fiber Reinforced Polymers (FRP), instrumentation and testing of wood structures, characterization and testing of FRP materials, repair/strengthening of concrete structures with FRP and new reinforcement materials for structural concrete. Antonis teaches the subjects of construction materials, measurement of works, statics and highway design. He also taught introductory and advanced courses in reinforced concrete design.
