Dr. Stavros Hadjiyiannis
|
Dr. Stavros Hadjiyiannis is a Post doctoral Research Associate at Frederick Research Center and part time Lecturer at Frederick Institute of Technology. He joined the Mechanical Engineering Department in 2004. Prior to this appointment he was Research Associate and Teaching Assistant (2000-2004) at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Manufacturing Engineering of the Mechanical Engineering Department of Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki (A.U.T.H.). He received the Dipl.-Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering (2000) and the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering (2004) from the Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki. He has over 35 scientific publications in refereed Journals and International Conferences. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK). Also, he participated in various funded research projects. His research interests are in the area of Coatings Technology and Manufacturing Processes, Microsructure of Materials, Mechanical Properties of Materials, Hydrogen techniques, Magnetic Materials, Plasma flux and kinematics during PVD procedure, Finite Element Analysis.
